The 2024 Xeno North Eastern Rallysprint, set for July 20, is an all-new event but harks back to various events held in a similar format two decades ago.
Those events, run by the North Eastern Car Club, proved popular for many reasons. Club competitors would run this as part of their regular rally season, while other teams would use the event as vital seat time to test their machines during their all-important Victorian or Australian Rally Championship campaigns. This event will do the same.
Set in the Moyhu Forest on flowing, undulating roads, two stages will be run multiple times in both directions throughout the day.
All 30 cars will pass the single spectator point four times during the day between 10am and 4pm.
SPECTATORS: One spectator point will be available during the day, just 9km from Moyhu. Cars will pass four times during the day.
In the morning, cars navigate a fast right-hander at the junction. In the afternoon, they travel in the opposite direction, taking the long way around a tricky left hand corner.
MEDIA: There will be media access available on the route and opportunities to ‘lock in’ for periods during the event. Accreditation will be required, and sign-on will take place in Moyhu.
COMPETITORS: Please find the official documentation below.
